AutoValet attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This policy explains which data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It has been drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy law.

Indication of your fleet size

Automatically during your visit

Anonymised usage statistics (page views) via a cookieless analytics tool — see our cookie policy.
Technical data inherent to internet traffic (such as IP address), temporarily processed by our hosting partner for security and operation.

3. What do we use your data for?

To handle your demo request and contact you;
To inform you about the services you showed interest in;
To ensure and improve the operation, security and quality of our website.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and never sell your data to third parties.

4. On what legal basis?

Consent — when you submit the demo form and tick the consent box (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
Legitimate interest — for the security and proper operation of our website and anonymised statistics (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Legal obligation — where we must retain data to comply with our legal obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

5. How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes described above. Request data is kept for a maximum of [INVULLEN: 24 maanden] after the last contact, unless you request earlier deletion or a longer statutory retention period applies.

6. Who receives your data?

Your data is only processed by authorised AutoValet staff and by carefully selected processors that support us, including:

our hosting and deployment partner (Vercel Inc.);
our form-processing service (FormSubmit) for handling your request.

Where necessary, data processing agreements are concluded with these parties. If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this is done with appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

access your data (right of access);
have inaccurate data corrected;
have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
have processing restricted or object to it;
receive your data in a common format (portability);
withdraw the consent you previously gave.
